Our shelter includes 22 dog kennels and space for up to 50 cats!

"I had the pleasure today of being given a tour of this wonderful facility. I met the dogs there and saw the cats in what only can be described as "cat heaven rooms". I would encourage anyone who is thinking of adding a dog or cat to their home to look first at PVHS. The care they show these animals is the best I have seen. "

The Volunteer of the Month for the month of April is NANCY WALL!
Nancy has received numerous nominations from her fellow volunteers ever since we began the Volunteer of the Month program. Nancy is very dedicated and extremely hard working. She is friendly and kind to all and exhibits a true love for the animals at the shelter. Nancy has a great attention for detail and always follows policies & procedures to ensure that the animals remain healthy & happy! Thank you Nancy for everything that you do!
